Workflow = 36,200,000 results

Why isn’t there more ad agency traffic (aka “workflow”) information out there? It’s simple, really — Traffic Managers are too busy putting out fires to write anything down!

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a plethora of information on the Net regarding “workflow.” I just did a Google search –- 36,200,000 results… a little more than I’m willing to read this afternoon. There’s even a Workflow Management Coalition with over 300 member organizations worldwide.

According to Wikipedia, workflow “is a depiction of a sequence of operations, declared as work of a person, work of a simple or complex mechanism, work of a group of persons, work of an organization of staff, or machines…”

Stay with me here, folks.

“… Workflow may be seen as any abstraction of real work, segregated in workshare, work split or whatever types of ordering.

For control purposes, workflow may be a view on real work under a chosen aspect thus serving as a virtual representation of actual work….”

I just want to know how to get a creative to complete today’s Time Sheet… before the end of the month.
